for 1907, with 19 1/4in. barrel, dove-tailed fore-sight, elevating notch rear-sight, tap-action breech with thumbwheel tensioner, plain air chamber marked 'H. THE "LINCOLN" AIR RIFLE PATENT', walnut saw-handled butt-stock, the right side marked 'REGISTERED LINCOLN JEFFERIES INVENTOR & PATENTEE', together with 'REGISTERED TRADE MARK', the top of wrist originally fitted for a peep-sight, now missing and area worn, no provision for fore-end and 'spade' style under-lever catch, finish stained and frosted
