FANZOJ - FERLACH.', flip-up open rear sight, ramped bead fore-sight, the breech end fitted with a Zeiss Diavari VM 2,5-10x50 T* telescopic sight, serial no. 2422410, in quickly-detachable mounts, the scope ring and mount engraved with acanthus scrollwork and with gold-inlaid bordering, the tubes engraved at the breech ends with acanthus scroll detailing and gold-inlaid bands, 3in. shot chambers, bored approx. 1/4 and 3/4 choke, treble-grip action with short side bolsters, removable striker discs, manual safety with gold-inlaid 'S' detail, manual shot / ball selector switch with gold-inlaid 'SCH' and 'K' details, and actuating the flip-up rear sight, gold-washed triggers with set front trigger, double rolled-edge triggerguard, bold acanthus scroll engraving surrounding scenes of hound flushing pheasant on the left side and roe deer in a woodland setting on the right against matted backgrounds, the underside with a coat of arms, gold-inlaid bordering, 15in. well-figured pistolgrip stock with right hand palm-swell, engraved and gold-inlaid steel pistolgrip cap, carved cheekpiece, sling swivels hinged trapdoor for five cartridges, including 3/4in. leather covered rubber recoil pad, weight 8lb.
