for October 1966, 28in. nitro barrels with 8mm solid matt top-rib, 2 3/4in. chambers, bored approx. 1/4 and 1/2 choke, three-piece fore-end, bolstered action with hold-open toplever, manual safety, hand-detachable lockplates with concealed flush-fitting release lever, cocking-indicators, single-trigger with barrel selector switch marked 'O' and 'U', the action, lockplates and furniture fully engraved with bold stylised acanthus scrollwork on a matt background, bright and blued finish, 15 1/8in. stock including 2 1/8in. wooden extension, weight 7lb. 6oz.
