A CASED 54-BORE PERCUSSION ADAM'S PATENT REVOLVER, UNSIGNED, no visible serial number,
circa 1860, with reblued octagonal 5 3/4in. barrel, reblued solid frame and plain five-shot cylinder, double action mechanism, chequered walnut semi saw-handled grip and articulated rammer mounted on the left side of barrel, in a period green baize-lined oak storage case with leather covering, the circular brass lid escutcheon engraved 'CAPT'N A.A.', R. Adams parchment trade-label inside lid and containing a period Dixon flask, a brass scissors mould, a nipple key, turn-screw, oil bottle and cap-tin
