dated 1884, with 32 1/2in. sighted barrel with proof, ownership and inspection marks, nocksform stamped 'MADE IN ENGLAND', right side of receiver with crown over 'V. R. / ENFIELD / 1884 / lock-viewer's mark / III. / 1.', full stock, butt with Enfield roundel, fittings have many WD, Broad Arrow and Enfield inspection marks, complete with clearing rod, stock has been poorly varnished with runs and applied over some metalwork
