LONDON.' and with acanthus scroll detailing at the breech ends, 2 3/4in. chambers, bored approx. 1/2 choke in all, scallop-back actions, toplevers gold-inlaid '1' and '2', automatic safeties with gold-inlaid 'SAFE' details, Edwin Smith patent easy-opening system, patent no. 372035 of 19th March 1931, double rolled-edge triggerguards, acanthus scroll engraving, the makers name in banners to the sides, the undersides with the model designation, retaining some original colour-hardening and finish, 14 3/4in. stocks (cast off towards central vision), weight 6lb. 1oz., in their lightweight leather motor case
