A COMPOSED PAIRING OF .177 AND .22 BSA MERLIN MKII AIR-RIFLES, serial numbers KA5869 and LA4085,
both manufactured between 1964-68, with black enamelled 14 1/4in. barrels, blade fore-sights, alloy pop-up loading ports just behind the standing notch rear-sights (the .177 port cleaned of finish), black enamelled air-chambers with 'BSA MERLIN' stamped lettering between the shallow telescopic sight rail, plain beech half-stocks with flush-fitting under-levers, light marks and small areas of finish loss to both but generally collector's external condition, the .177 fitted with a period BSA 3x telescopic sight, the .22 fitted with a later unsigned 4x20 telescopic sight
