for 1900, 28in. replacement nitro chopperlump barrels (by the makers, loop numbers 72113/4 and 72115/6) with matted Churchill style ribs, the tubes engraved 'J. PURDEY & SONS. AUDLEY HOUSE. SOUTH AUDLEY STREET. LONDON. ENGLAND.', 2 3/4in. chambers, bored approx. 1/4 and 1/2 choke (No.1) and 1/4 and 3/4 choke (No.2), toplevers engraved '1' and '2', removable striker discs, automatic safeties with gold-inlaid 'SAFE' details, arrow cocking-indicators, triggers set for the left hand, best fine acanthus scroll engraving with floral bouquets, brushed bright and reblued finish overall, 15 1/2in. figured replacement stocks, slightly cast on for the left shoulder, including buttplates, weight 6lb. 15oz., in a lightweight leather motor case
