W.' and gold-inlaid '1' and '2' at the breech ends, 2 1/2in. chambers, bored approx. imp. cyl. and 1/4 choke, slender carved fences, toplevers gold-inlaid '1' and '2', automatic safeties with gold-inlaid 'SAFE' details, fine border and acanthus scroll engraving, the sides with scrolling banners engraved 'JOHN ROBERTSON', retaining very sight traces of original colour-hardening and finish, some light surface patination, 15 5/8in. stocks, No.1 fore-end wood light loss to left edge, weight 5lb. 15oz.
