L.E.I.', blued finish, three-quarter length stock, the butt marked on the right side 'Carried by Lt. J.F. Richardson. Lincolnshire Regt. During the South African War 1901-1902. Nylstroom. Grobbelaars Kloof. Rustenberg. Barberton. Pietermaritzberg.', 13 1/8in. pull including brass buttplate, weight 9lb.
