circa 1800, with 38in. slightly shortened browned barrel, the top near breech engraved 'RPM', block fore-sight, Tower proofs and squared top-tang, borderline engraved 1795 style lock with swan-necked cock, 'G.R.' and crown device below pan and 'TOWER' signature to tail, walnut handrail full-stock with brass furniture, the heel-plate spur engraved 'E' over '77', three ramrod thimbles, 'India' pattern sideplate, iron ramrod and stirrup swivels
