30in. Greener trade mark nitro reproved damascus barrels, scroll engraved at the breech ends, rib engraved in an oval 'TREBLE WEDGE FAST NO. 3084' and 'W. W. GREENER ST. MARY'S WORKS. BIRMINGHAM. WINNER AT THE LONDON GUN TRIALS. 1875. 1877 & 1878.', 2 1/2in. chambers, bored approx. 1/4 and 3/4 choke, treble-grip Anson & Deeley patent barrel-cocking hammerless action, patent no. 1759 of 11th May 1875, use number 648, incorporating W. W. Greener 1873 patent crossbolt, carved serpentine fences, cocking-indicators (likely variant of J. Reeves 1879 patent), missing one indicator pin, manual side-safety, floral engraved safety housing with gold-inlaid 'SAFE' detail, intercepting sears, fine acanthus scroll engraving, brushed finish, 14in. highly-figured tiger stripe stock with spearpoint drop points and ornate chequering borders, horn buttplate, fore-end with Deeley & Edge patent release catch and horn finial, weight 6lb. 14oz., in a leather case (poor condition)
