circa 1919, with 3 7/8in. barrel, dove-tailed fore-sight, undated breech, 'DWM' monogram stamped to the top of toggle, standing notch rear-sight, blued receiver and frame, chequered walnut grips, traces of 'straw' finish to the ancillaries, all matching numbers except later magazine
