24in. replacement nitro chopperlump barrels with raised matt rib, carved in gothic script 'JOHN RIGBY & CO.13 PALL MALL, LONDON S.W.1.', open sights with two folding leaf sights, white metal inlaid sight lines and marked for 100, 200 and 300 yards, blade fore-sight with flip-up moonsight, tubes engraved '"SPECIALLY SIGHTED FOR KYNOCH 470 CARTRIDGE. 3 1/4 CASE, METAL COVERED BULLET 500 GRN'S', sling swivel, treble-grip action with Rigby & Bissell patent rising third bite, patent no. 1141 of 1879, use number 925, carved leaf fences, slender toplever, manual safety with button release and gold-inlaid 'SAFE' detail, removable striker discs with 'R' and 'L' details, dipped-edge lockplates, chequered front trigger, fully engraved with bold foliate scroll engraving on a partially matted background, 14in. well-figured pistolgrip stock (minor repairs to underhorns), horn pistolgrip-cap, engraved steel sling button, 1/2in. rubber recoil pad, fore-end with Rigby patent screw-grip fore-end fastener and Rigby patent ejector / non-ejector selector nut, weight 10lb. 6oz., in a Chapuis universal case
