dated 1953, 23 1/2in. replacement nitro reproved barrel (in 2025) with Hammerli trademark at the breech end, the barrel numbered 6958, with ramp-mounted open sights with folding leaf sight, ramp-mounted blade fore-sight, the breech end mounted with a Swarovski Habicht 4 telescopic sight, serial no. 413261, in quickly-detachable mounts, Heeren patent falling block, the action face marked '389 OREA', manual side safety, acanthus scroll engraving, the standing breech with a central motif of a stylised deer in a shield, the sides of the action with scrolling banners engraved 'MARHOLDT PETERLONGO' to the left and 'INNSBRUCK TYROL' to the right, the triggerguard tang numbered 1370.53, black finish, 14 3/8in. figured pistolgrip stock with hogsback comb, sculpted cheekpiece, sling swivels, pistolgrip-cap and including 1in. ventilated rubber recoil pad, weight 6lb. 1oz. (unscoped) and 6lb. 15oz. (with scope)
