dated 1887, with 32 1/2in. sighted barrel stamped 'N S / N E P' (Native Service / Nepal), plus various inspection, proof and 'WD' with Broad Arrow Ownership marks, plus 'Sold out of Service' and 'F' marks on the nocksform, falling block action, receiver with clear 'Crown / V . R . / ENFIELD / 1887 / Lock-viewer's Mark / IV / 1' marks, plus 'Sold out of Service' and further inspection and proof marks, full stock, butt with Enfield roundel, Indian Arsenal and Nepalese unit marks, plus dates of '5 / 1891' and '12 / 1906', parts with 'WD', Broad Arrow and inspection marks, trigger-guard with Nepalese script plus Enfield-Martini 'E-M' mark and butt with original lever recess plugged indicating reused parts from the Enfield-Martini, complete with sling swivels, cleaning rod and socket bayonet (no scabbard)
