circa 1890, 27in. black powder only octagonal barrel with partially file cut top flat and engraved 'COGSWELL & HARRISON. 142 NEW BOND ST. LONDON.', the left side with '.360 No.5', open sights with two folding leaf sights, white metal inlaid sight lines and marked for 50, 100 and 150 yards, bead fore-sight, sidelever action with beaded border engraving and some scrollwork, retaining traces of colour-hardening, 14 1/2in. pistolgrip stock with steel pistolgrip-cap, Hackett snap fore-end with horn finial, in its leather case
