OS.466A. 1943. No7967', the mount stamped '37231', rings stamped '25' and '26' at their bases, with a metal tin, the lid exterior marked 'OS. 906A. CASE, STG. TEL. No.8. B&CO.', (re-painted green), with sighting tool and reproduction leather lens cover marked 'BHG 1944', manual safety, lightweight bolt, receiver marked 'T. No.4 MKI.' on the left side, the butt stock collar marked 'M47C. 1944. 37231. TR. 45.', detachable box magazine (with one spare), three-quarter length stock, fore-stock with four-groove top-cover, applied raised cheekpiece, butt marked '15617' at the wrist and 'S51' to the underside, leather sling, 13in. pull including alloy buttplate with central trapdoor, weight 9lb. 11oz.
