BIRMINGHAM' and gold-inlaid '2' at the breech end, 2 1/2in. chambers, bored approx. true cyl. and 1/2 choke, treble-grip action, toplever gold-inlaid '2', automatic safety with gold-inlaid 'SAFE' detail, fine acanthus scroll engraving with floral bouquets, retaining slight traces of colour-hardening and much renewed finish, 14 3/4in. well-figured stock, weight 6lb. 10oz., in a brass-cornered leather case
