the revolver dated for 1884, with octagonal to round 4 1/2in. barrel, applied fore-sight, sighting groove to the top-strap, solid frame with arsenal signature to right side, stepped unfluted six-shot cylinder, strong straw colour finish to ancillaries, chequered walnut grips, lanyard ring at heel, good 'in the white' finish to metalwork as per original, with a period military issue full-flap leather holster with ammunition pouch to front and a certificate of proof
