circa 1935, with octagonal to round 18 3/4in. barrel, dove-tailed fore-sight, elevating notch rear-sight, stepped air-chamber with narrowed bolted barrel-jaws and cam-action locking lever mounted to the left side, flared trigger unit, chequered walnut pistol-grip saw-handled butt-stock, iron heel-plate, trigger adjustment screw to front of guard and no provision for fore-end, strong traces of finish
