A 10-BORE PERCUSSION SINGLE-BARRELLED SPORTING RIFLE FOR RENOVATION SIGNED MARSEY & SILLIVER, LONDON, serial no. 1850,
circa 1850, with sighted octagonal 32in. barrel (corroded, some heavy), the top-flat signed 'MARSEY & SILLIVER, LONDON' together with the later applied serial number, hooked breech, long top-tang, bar-action border and scroll engraved lock (brushed bright finish now with surface corrosion), signature to the bar with the later serial number repeated below, walnut half-stock with raised cheek-piece and chequered wrist, single set trigger, iron furniture including patchbox to left side (all rusted) and under-barrel rib lacking ramrod and one thimble
