A 12-BORE SELF-OPENING SIDELOCK EJECTOR, serial no. 22914,
for 1925, 29in. replacement nitro chopperlump barrels (by the makers in 2003, loop numbers 78523/4), the rib engraved '2' and 'J PURDEY & SONS. AUDLEY HOUSE. SOUTH AUDLEY STREET. LONDON.', 2 3/4in. chambers, bored approx. imp. cyl. and 1/2 choke, wear to finish, some pits, toplever engraved '2', removable striker discs, automatic safety with gold-inlaid 'SAFE' detail, cocking-indicators, best fine acanthus scroll engraving with floral bouquets, some renewed finish, 15 1/2in. figured replacement stock (cast and swept towards central vision), weight 6lb. 10oz.
