circa 1914, with well reblued 7 1/2in. barrel, ramp and blade fore-sight retaining its supplied nickel-plated slip-over muzzle-protector, stirrup barrel-latch with adjustable rear-sight blade, break-open frame with automatic ejecting six-shot cylinder, brushed bright hammer and chequered trigger, chequered walnut grips with squared heel (lanyard ring removed) and double action mechanism, in a period oak casing lined and compartmented in blue baize and containing a tray for ammunition, a glass oil bottle and some later cleaning apparel
