circa 1855, with octagonal to round 31in. barrel, the top-flat at breech signed '*** IN DERNSTADT' (rubbed), bead fore-sight with tunnel protector, elevating tangent rear-sight, replacement breech-block, re-coloured top-tang fitted with an adjustable pan-head peep-sight, plain hump-backed bar-action lock, the hammer re-coloured and repaired at nose, walnut full-stock with raised and moulded cheek-piece (old repairs forwards of lock and to fore-end), re-coloured Swiss-style heel-plate and spurred trigger-guard, double set triggers, re-coloured ramrod holder and replacement ramrod
