A SCARCE .300 (EX. LONG) BSA BOLT-ACTION ROOK & RABBIT RIFLE, serial no. 7624,
circa 1912, with reblued round 25 1/2in. barrel, fore-sight dove-tailed to a raised platform at muzzle, standing notch rear-sight with additional folding leaf, the top of barrel signed 'MADE BY THE BIRMINGHAM SMALL ARMS CO. LTD, ENGLAND' over the calibre description. BSA trademark to nocksform, bolt-action receiver of Long Lee form with turned down handle to bolt (numbered '7990'), thumb safe at rear, walnut half-stock (small repaired crack to right of wrist) and iron furniture
