circa 1976, 27 1/2in. nitro 'epreuve triple' monobloc barrels with sunken rib and no under rib, tubes engraved with hastate foliate motifs at the breech end, 2 3/4in. chambers, bored approx. 1/4 and 1/2 choke, sprung sliding-breech with converging obturator discs, manual side safety, the underside with push button barrel release, bold bouquet and scroll engraving on a matted background, the fences carved in relief with stylised leaf designs, old silver finish overall, horn fore-end finial, 15in. figured stock including buttplate, weight 6lb. 3oz.
