A 22-BORE FLINTLOCK IRON-BARRELLED BLUNDERBUSS FOR THE EAST INDIA COMPANY, no visible serial number,
dated for 1811, with strongly flared two-stage 15 1/2in. barrel, ball and band engraving at the intersection, floral engraving to the top-tang, military style slightly curved and radiused lock dated at the tail and marked with the East India Company rampant lion trademark forwards of the hammer, walnut full-stock (loss to wood forwards of sideplate and toe a working replacement), brass furniture and iron under-barrel ramrod
