29 1/2in. nitro barrels, the ribless over barrel gold-inlaid 'BOSS & CO, LONDON.', short ovate sight rib finely engraved with acanthus scrolls with central floral motif, the barrel with further acanthus scrolls in a cuneate design, side-ribs, 2 3/4in. chambers, bored approx. 1/4 choke in both, diminutive hold-open toplever gold-inlaid with the monogram 'RB', automatic safety with gold-inlaid 'SAFE' detail, gold-inlaid cocking-indicators, rounded bar, Boss patent single-trigger with rolled-edge triggerguard, the action, lockplates and furniture profusely engraved with fine acanthus scrollwork, bordered and intertwined with gold-inlaid stylised convolvulaceae vines tipped with silver-inlaid morning glory flowers in full bloom, the underside finely inlaid with a scrolling banner inscribed 'Boss & Co.', the triggerplate signed 'CH. Provenance: The makers have kindly confirmed that the gun was ordered on the 23rd November 2006 and was completed approximately two years later.
They have also kindly confirmed that serial number 10294 has been reserved in the event that a second gun to pair with 10293 be required.
