A RARE 10.15mm (JARMANN BLANK) BOLT-ACTION HARPOON-GUN, serial no. 11546,
circa 1885, with heavy two-stage 19 1/2in. barrel, applied brass pinched blade fore-sight, rounded receiver with shallow notch rear-sight to top of bolt-cover and shallow sighting groove to the oversized straight bolt-handle, large chequered cocking piece to rear, walnut half-stock with coarsely chequered wrist, iron heel-plate of substantial weight and guarded trigger, much finish remaining
