circa 1925, with ovoid 18in. barrel, machine engraved sighting plane with dove-tailed fore-sight and standing notch rear-sight, special twin-bar barrel-latch released with a thumb-lever, slanting air-chamber, walnut butt-stock, the left side at head stamped with a retailer's mark, possibly Benefinks of Cheapside London, cocking link forming the trigger guard, strong amount of finish remaining
