circa 1735, with swamped octagonal deeply rifled 26 1/2in. barrel, the top-flat signed 'IOS HEIZENBURGER A NEUSTAT' (sic), dovetailed blade fore-sight, standing rear-sight with one folding leaf, flat plain bevel-edged lockplate, un-bridled frizzen, plain hammer (mainspring broken), continental style walnut full-stock with raised angular cheek-piece, live carved decoration and flat underside, brass furniture including side-plate and nose cap, hogs-bristle set trigger and elongated trigger-guard bow, the whole complete with sling swivels and a horn-tipped ramrod (some staining to metal surfaces, multiple splits to woodwork, some serious)
