25 5/8in. octagonal blued nitro barrel with raised sight rib, finely engraved open sights and ramp-mounted bead fore-sight, the breech end mounted with a Zeiss Diavari-C 3-9x36 T* telescopic sight in exquisitely engraved quickly-detachable mounts, the rib signed by the maker and the whole with symmetrical floral and scroll flourishes, signed in gold at the breech end 'Dr Eberhard Rau', slim action with finely sculpted standing breech, removable striker disc, elongated top strap with automatic safety, gold-inlaid cocking-indicator, set trigger, the action, lockplate and decorative sideplate and furniture exquisitely engraved with tight acanthus scrollwork and floral bouquets and with fine gold highlighting, the fore-end decorated en suite, the lockplate signed 'W. GLANZNIG' in a scrolling banner, the triggerplate signed 'J.
