probably American, with 30in. barrels of round profile, 'Rocky Mountain' style fore-sight, long buckhorn style rear-sight, symmetrical moulded nipple bosses, plain top-tang held with three screws (possibly tapped for a tang-sight, plain back-action locks, walnut butt-stock of 'Kentucky' form, white metal furniture including patchbox and crescent heel-plate, raised lower trigger guard tang, set trigger for the rifle barrel (currently not holding on cock) and twin side-mounted wood ramrods
