dated 1887, with 32 1/2in. sighted barrel stamped 'NEP . NS' (for Nepalese Native Service) on left under the rear sight, broad arrow, inspection and proof-marks stamped in front of receiver, plus 'star' (lapped barrel) mark, tilting block action, receiver with inspection and proof marks, right side with crown over 'V.R. / ENFIELD.' / 1887. / lock-viewer's mark / 'IV / 1', walnut full stock, (some chipping where butt meets the receiver), butt with Enfield and Allahabad Arsenal roundels, plus 'A L / 11 / 1908' and Nepalese unit markings, long lever, trigger-guard with Nepalese markings, many parts with broad arrow and inspection stamps, complete with sling swivels, cleaning rod and reproduction leather sling
