for 1935, 28in. nitro reproved barrels (in 1991), the ribs engraved 'B. HALLIDAY & CO. LTD. 63. CANNON STREET. LONDON. E.C.4.' and gold-inlaid '1' and '2' at the breech ends, 2 3/4in. chambers, bored approx. imp. cyl. and 1/4 choke (No.1) and imp. cyl. and 1/2 choke (No.2, automatic safeties with gold-inlaid 'SAFE' details, unsigned actions with fine border and acanthus scroll engraving, triggerguard tangs serial numbered 1880 / 1, action bars and fore-end irons numbered 646 / 7, 15 1/2in. stocks, gold-inset '1' and '2' towards the heels, including wooden buttplate (No.1) and 1 1/2in. wooden extension (inked in to match) and 5/8in. wooden buttplate (No.2), fore-end woods inset with gold '1' and '2', weight 6lb. 1oz.
