LONDON.', patent no. 184 of 1852, use number 925, the breech ends with best bold scroll engraved independent side-opening bolts, each with individual safety levers and 'BOLTED' detail, scroll-engraved flat-top fences, the topstrap engraved with a grouse amid bold scroll engraving, triggerguard with pineapple finial, 13 5/8in. well-figured stock (reprofiled at fore-end), engraved steel buttplate with top-strap, weight 7lb. 7oz.
