A 6-BORE SINGLE-BARRELLED PERCUSSION BIG GAME RIFLE SIGNED BENTLEY & PLAYFAIR,
33 1/2in. twist octagonal to round barrel rifled with four grooves (sights missing, underside of barrel drilled through in two places beneath the fore-end), scroll engraved breech, tang and signed lock (hammer missing), walnut half-stock (in poor condition), set triggers, iron mounts (much wear throughout, metal parts with surface corrosion, under-rib detached), iron ramrod, Birmingham proof marks.
