for 1916, with 6in. sighted barrel (proved 2011) signed on the top 'COLT'S PT. FA. MFG. CO. HARTFORD CT. U.S.A. PAT'D. AUG 5 1884. JUNE 5 1900 JULY 4 1905.' and 'NEW SERVICE .455 ELEY' on the left hand side, blued fluted cylinder, plain blued frame with the 'rampant stallion' logo, hard-rubber chequered grips impressed with the word 'COLT', lanyard ring at base of butt, the whole refinished TOGETHER WITH a period full-flap service style holster
