circa 1860, with 9in. octagonal twist sighted barrel signed 'ST. JAMES'S LONDON' towards the breech, scroll engraved breech and tang, border and scroll engraved lock signed 'P. WEBLEY & SON', walnut three-quarter stock with chequered butt (chequering worn, fore-end repaired), white metal escutcheon, engraved iron trigger-guard, and iron stirrup ramrod (barrel-bolt escutcheons and barrel-bolt replaced), Birmingham proof marks.
