A 13-BORE DOUBLE-BARRELLED PERCUSSION SPORTING GUN SIGNED CARTWRIGHT, NORWICH,
30in. twist sighted barrels, scroll engraved breeches each with platinum plug, scroll engraved tang, locks each signed 'CARTWRIGHT NORWICH' and engraved with scrollwork and a small game scene, figured walnut half-stock with chequered grip (small split in fore-end), engraved iron mounts including trigger-guard decorated with a dog in a wooded landscape, silver escutcheon and barrel-bolt escutcheons, and brass-mounted ramrod with worm (metal parts discoloured, some wear to engraving on mounts), Birmingham proof marks.
