A RARE .30 LUGER (7.65 PARABELLUM) SEMI-AUTOMATIC PISTOL, MODEL '1900 COMMERCIAL', serial no. 16314,
circa 1902, with 4 1/2in. sighted barrel, 'dish' style cocking piece, un-marked safety catch on frame, grip safety to backstrap, chequered wooden grips, no provision for shoulder stock and possible original magazine (end piece modified and chequered), the whole retaining much original finish (rear and sides of frame engraved with various South African registration numbers, frame and barrel partially refinished, back of frame spuriously marked 9mm)
