A 9mm 'MODEL 1908' SELF-LOADING "LUGER" SERVICE PISTOL, serial no. 1682,
4in. nitro barrel (proved in 2009), receiver with Reichswehr issue date of '1920' and Kaiserliche Marine proof marks, frame marked with naval issue mark 'O .827' on the front grip-strap, chequered wooden grips, matching numbers throughout with the exception of the wood-based naval magazine, retaining much arsenal reblued finish (some holster rub), in brown leather flap holster with spare wood-based magazine.
Other Notes: Originally a 6in. barrelled naval pistol, this pistol was rebuilt following the First World War using a new 4in. barrel and bolt with standard rear-sight.
