circa 1855, with 4 1/2in sighted octagonal barrel, the left hand top flat marked 'LAC', numbered under the rammer 'L3064' border line engraved frame engraved 'KERR'S PATENT 751' on the right hand side and 'LONDON ARMOURY' on the left, unfluted cylinder numbered '751' on the side and '562' on the front, 'shotgun' style back action side-hammer lock with sliding safety, walnut chequered grip with steel butt-cap and oval silver escutcheon with monogram below the backstrap (small traces of original finish, remainder cleaned and pitted, trigger return spring at fault)
