AN INDIAN 15-BORE MATCHLOCK TORADAR,
late 18th / early 19th century, with 42 1/2in. three-stage damascus sighted barrel with gold-damascened decoration at the muzzle and breech, three-quarter stock painted with koftgari work and flower-heads (some loss to painted finish) and with bone inlays to each side of the butt, iron side-plates each with traces of silver damascened decoration, iron sling mounts, three brass barrel-bands, and iron ramrod.
