early 19th century, with white sheet metal beaten hilt over a wood core, fully decorated with wire-work and pink coral inlays of seed form (in fragile condition with losses and damage throughout), the 16 1/2in. wide double edged blade with central treble fuller, in its original white metal scabbard fully decorated en-suite with the hilt (minor losses to decoration), stylised fish head device to tip and small suspension loop to the reverse
