23in. blued nitro barrel signed 'ASPREY' in gold and engraved 'NEW BOND STREET. LONDON' and with a spray of scrollwork at the breech, scroll engraved blued receiver fitted with a Zeiss Diatal-C 4x32 telescopic sight in fixed blued mounts engraved en suite, cocking-piece with gold-inlaid 'F' and 'S', 14 1/2in. well figured pistolgrip stock including 1in. leather-covered recoil-pad, raised cheek-piece, chequered grip and fore-end, dark horn pistolgrip-cap and fore-end cap, blued trigger-guard and magazine floor-plate each engraved en suite with the receiver, the former with gold-inlaid serial number, gold escutcheon, blued sling mounts, in original makers canvas and leather full length rifle case with cleaning accessories including horn-handled brass cleaning-rod, the lid with gilt leather Asprey trade label. This rifle appears to be virtually unfired.
