A LARGE BOWIE KNIFE,
mid-19th century, with 13 1/2in. clip-point blade stamped 'REINHARDT / BALTIMORE' on the left side towards the ricasso and with recess and four decorative notches on each side of the back-edge (tip bent, heavily discoloured), iron guard with clover leaf finials, substantial tang, wooden grips.
