LONDON' (signature refreshed), border engraved patent breeches each with pierced platinum plug, border engraved tang and locks, the latter each signed 'WESTLEY RICHARDS', figured walnut half-stock with chequered grip, reblued iron mounts including border and scroll engraved trigger-guard, silver escutcheon engraved with a crest and silver barrel-bolt escutcheons, and original brass-mounted ramrod with worm, Birmingham proof marks, in brass-cornered mahogany case for gun number 5793, lined in green baize with accessories including brass-mounted copper Hawksley powder-flask, Sykes patent leather shot belt, pull-through and nipple-wrench, the lid with Westley Richards trade label, the exterior with flush-fitting brass carrying-handle and circular brass escutcheon.
