A SCARCE, BOXED .177 NICKEL PLATED PUSH-IN BARREL AIR PISTOL, MODEL 'BRITANNIA'
circa 1930, with 6in. smoothbore barrel, sighted, plated receiver and grip, stamped 'MADE IN ENGLAND' on the left hand side and 'THE BRITANNIA' together with a seated figure of Britannia on the right hand side, the whole remaining in fine condition with minimal losses to plating, TOGETHER WITH its original blue cardboard slip-top box, the pasted label on the lid stating 'BRITANNIA AIR PISTOL. THE DAWN OF A NEW ALL STEEL BRITISH MADE AIR PISTOL. RELIABLE AND STRONG', together with a picture of Britannia seated and the air pistol in its cocked state (box distressed with losses to corners and one side, label dirty)
